About these terms
These terms are an agreement between Minouflow and the business that signs up to use it. Minouflow is run by Caitlyn Lentz, doing business as Minouflow, in Maine. "We" means Minouflow. "You" means the salon and the person who signs up for it.
By creating an account or using Minouflow, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
The service
Minouflow is software for grooming salons. It includes a calendar, online booking, client and dog records, texts, emails, phone calls, payments, payroll tools and the Minnow AI assistant. Features can change over time.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms for the salon.
- Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including what your staff do.
- Give us accurate business details. Phone carriers and Stripe rely on them.
Free trial
New salons start with a free trial. No card is needed to start it. When the trial ends, the salon becomes read-only until a plan is chosen.
Plans and billing
- Plans are priced per location, per month. Current prices are on our pricing page.
- Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, to the card on file. Prices do not include any taxes that apply.
- Extra groomer seats and AI minute packs are charged as shown on the pricing page. Included AI minutes reset each billing period. Minute packs you buy carry over. There is no charge per minute over the included minutes.
- If a payment fails, the salon keeps working for 14 days. After that it becomes read-only until the payment goes through.
- We can change prices. A new price applies from your next billing period after we email you about it.
- Payments are not refunded for part of a billing period.
Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time from Settings. The salon keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, then becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted when you cancel.
- To have your salon's information deleted, email us.
- We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or is not paid.
Card payments for your salon
- Card payments from your clients are processed by Stripe through your salon's own Stripe account. You agree to Stripe's terms, including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, when you connect that account.
- Minouflow charges a platform fee of 0.5% of each card payment. Tips are left out of the fee. The fee is taken out of the payment along with Stripe's fee.
- You are responsible for your own prices, deposits, refunds, no-show fees and disputes with your clients, and for telling clients your policies.
Texts, calls and recordings
- You are responsible for having your clients' permission to text and call them, and for following texting and calling laws and carrier rules.
- Voicemails are recorded and transcribed, and calls answered by the AI assistant are transcribed. Some places require callers to be told about this. You are responsible for any notice your location requires.
- Phone carriers can block or delay messages. We do not control delivery.
Minnow AI
The AI assistant can make mistakes, including wrong times, prices or answers. Check what it books and what it tells your clients. You are responsible for how you use it with your clients.
Your information
- Your salon's information belongs to you. You give us permission to store and use it to run Minouflow for you, to support you and to bill you, as our privacy policy describes.
- You confirm you have the right to put your clients' information into Minouflow.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Minouflow to send spam or messages people did not agree to, to break the law, or to harass anyone.
- Do not try to get into another salon's information, get around limits in the app, or overload the service.
- Do not copy, resell or take apart the software.
Availability
We work to keep Minouflow running. We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors, and the companies we rely on can have outages.
Minouflow is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost information, or indirect damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
If someone makes a claim against us because of how your salon used Minouflow, such as texting a client without permission, you agree to cover our costs from that claim.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we update the date at the top of this page. Using Minouflow after that means you accept the new terms.
Maine law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Maine.
